DJ Swanahh, a Saudi-born Pakistani DJ based in Dubai, stands out as the UAE’s first and only Pakistani female DJ representing the Middle East with her rich Arab heritage from Riyadh, KSA. Alongside her DJ career, she holds a degree in Computer Science with a major in Software Development and has a keen interest in event planning, digital marketing, and content creation. This blend of interests spans technology, music, travel, and culture.
A self-taught DJ who rose to prominence during the pandemic, Swanahh has been recognized on several platforms, including DJaneMag and EDMdroid, where she was listed among Asia’s Top 25 DJs and has secured eight global DJ nominations. She was also nominated in the Musivv ‘DJ of the Year’ category in 2023 and again in DJaneMag’s Top100DJanes in 2024.
Swanahh’s versatile DJ skills cover a broad range of musical genres, appealing to diverse audiences. She has collaborated with top brands and played at major venues and festivals across the region, including Femme Fest and the Dubai Shopping Festival. Her work extends beyond the UAE to international radio stations and record labels in countries like Nigeria, Canada, and the UK.
Holding prestigious residencies at locations such as Hilton Dubai and Radisson Blu, and maintaining her role as Dubai’s New Year DJ with Emaar, Swanahh has also been recognized by Virgin Radio under the Arabian Radio Network. Her goal is to empower other creatives through her diverse skills and showcase a wide array of cultures and sounds, both locally and internationally.
